The idea of The Angel in the House was first formulated in 1854 in Coventry Patmore’s poem of the same name, which was based on Patmore’s own wife Emily Augusta Andrews. Six designers have been invited by Misschiefs to participate in the Fine Dying collection. Based on Woolf’s words and the idea of Fine Dining as part of the history of tableware design, Anna Nordström, Sara Szyber, Lotta Lampa, Isa Andersson, Maria Pita Guerreiro and ButchXFemme have each created unique handmade objects that take up space on a long dinner table setting.
