Iggy Jeans took over Misschiefs för a week during the fall och 2021. Iggy Jeans is a upcycling clothing line by Ingrid “Iggy” Berg with a mission to create sustainable and climate friendly fashion with denim as canvas. An artistic collaboration between Ingrid Berg and Igor Holtermann featuring site specifically painted walls will also be exhibiting during the takeover 17-23 September.

Ingrid began upcycling vintage denim at age 14 and started selling her painted jeans at Ö-A store in Stockholm in 2017. Since then, she has been actively working to create sustainable fashion with her own experimental and quirky sense of creativity. She has collaborated with Weekday (2020), Rodebjer (2020) and APlace (2021). She had a pop up at the iconic Swedish luxury department store NK (2021), where she also did a store window.

Iggy Jeans launched her takeover at Misschiefs shortly after showing her latest SS22 collection of vintage denim during Stockholm Fashionweek.

“IggyJeans is a development platform which lets me explore my creativity and for the Misschiefs takeover I will be working as a open studio and audience will have the possibility of seeing me painting walls, bodies and jeans live”.
