Artist and freelance designer
Isa Andersson, born in 1990 in Stockholm, Sweden, is an artist and freelance designer. She holds an MFA in Design from Konstfack, Stockholm, and a BFA in Product Design from Beckmans College of Design, Stockholm. Isa often works like a sculptor to create objects and furniture items which question social structures and relationships between bodies and the space they inhabit. She is currently working with many projects involving major brands and institutions, such as Tensta Art Gallery, IKEA, Beckmans College of Design, and Design Lab S. She has exhibited in both solo and group shows in the most important galleries and fairs in Stockholm. Isa has received awards and grants from major Swedish institutions, such as Young Swedish Design, Svensk Form, and the Swedish Arts Council (Kulturrådet).
