Painter working in Stockholm
Hanna Stansvik, born in 1987 in Hallsberg, Sweden, is a painter working in Stockholm. She studied Fine Arts at Örebro Art School and Art History at Uppsala University, as well as gender studies at Stockholm University. Her artworks deal with corporeality and are often self-portraits, characterized by a fleshy realism and unconventional pose, which allow her to be experimental, irreverent, and playful with her subject matter. She has exhibited in numerous solo and group shows, as well as in events and festivals, and is represented in both public and private collections in Sweden.
