Hanna Hedman, born in 1980 in Stockholm, Sweden, is a jewelry artist. She holds an MFA and a BA from Konstfack, Stockholm, as well as a BFA from Otago Polytechnic, New Zealand, in Silversmithing and Jewelry. Her objects, which require elaborate techniques, intricate craftwork, and countless hours of work, have been exhibited in numerous solo and group shows worldwide, in major museums and in international fairs. Her creations are also found in the permanent collections of Smithsonian Design Museum and MAD, New York, Nationalmuseum, Stockholm, Röhsska museet, Gothenburg, as well as in galleries and private collections. Hanna has received many grants and awards for her work, among which the 2016 Sigvard and Marianne Bernadotte Art Award, the 2011 Nova Nordic Designer of the Year, and the 2009 So Fresh Award.
