Anna Kraitz, born in 1973 in Ängelholm, Sweden, is a Stockholm-based designer whose work spans from small daily objects to large furniture items. Her unwavering curiosity allows her to explore daily life and personal memories to create unique pieces, which have been exhibited her work all around Sweden, as well as in Tokyo, London, New York, and Washington. Many of her objects are part of the Swedish National Museum’s permanent collection, in Stockholm, and she is represented in several significant design publications. Anna is a lecturer at Konstfack and Beckmans College of Design, as well as board member of major design juries and institutions. Throughout her career, she has been awarded many prizes and grants, among which several grants from the Swedish Arts Grants Committee, and the Designer of the Year Award from Plaza Magazine (2021), Residence (2010), and Marknadsföreningen Hbg (2008).
