Francine Agbodjalou (born 1989, Lome, Togo) is a multidisciplinary artist based in Stockholm, Sweden. She extends her professional experience as an actress into her work within the fine art field. Her multifaceted production as a painter, a performer or writer, always contains a performative aspect. She currently has a Bachelor degree in Fine Arts from the Royal Institute of Art in Stockholm. Her work investigates the concept of authenticity and tries to approach materiality from a conceptual perspective. This manifests itself into the application of abstraction and usage of symbols in her installation work.
