Writer, Poet & Cultural journalist
Nioosha Shams (born in 1996, Malmö, Sweden) is a writer, poet and cultural journalist. She has studied at Biskops Arnös författarskola and Ölands folkhögskola. In 2020, her debut novel "Om det regnar i Ahvaz" was published at Bonnier Carlsen. Shams uses other art forms within her writing projects, such as painting, embroidery and analogue photography. She is inspired by persian rugs and poetry, old school hiphop and teenagers on the subway. Almost everything she writes ends up being about love, whether it's a novel, a poem or a cultural article.
