Stockholm-based light artist
Josefin Eklund, born in 1992 in Gothenburg, Sweden, is a Stockholm-based light artist. She studied sculpture at the School of Art of Gothenburg, where she had her first exhibitions. She is now based in Stockholm and works mostly with neon lights and installations, but also with painting and sculpture. Fascinated by bright colors and soft shapes, she creates a subaqueous world through her neon artworks and installations. She has exhibited in several galleries in Stockholm and Gothenburg, as well as at Fotografiska Studio Live. She has also collaborated with Absolut Vodka and received the 2018 Art of the Year Award in Gothenburg from Nöjesguiden.
