Performance-artist and digital designer
Heidi Edström, born in 1990 in Luleå, Sweden, is a performance-artist and digital designer working in Stockholm. She is currently completing a BFA in Fine Arts at Konstfack, Stockholm, while exhibiting her work and performing all around Sweden. She is also co-founder of the experimental performance group Knollkollektivet. Heidi works with performance art, sculpture, installations, photography, and drawing, in which she explores knölar. This Swedish word refers to all types of lumps, bumps, knots, louts, etc., a shape and concept Heidi is obsessed with. It embodies everything that refuses to be flattened down, the disturbing and uncontrollable imperfections that are part of the reality of living organisms.
