Multidisciplinary artist and cultural worker based in Sweden
Atoosa Farahmand, born in 1991 in Tehran, Iran, is a multidisciplinary artist and cultural worker based in Sweden. She has an interest in politics, social issues, and feminism. Since she arrived in Sweden as a refugee, she has mainly worked in cultural institutions as a project leader, artistic director, choreographer, and performer. Atoosa has widely exhibited and presented her work in solo and group settings in Brazil, Germany, Netherlands, Nigeria, Sweden, the UK, and the US.
